All About Summit to Your Success

Dortha Hise, at your service.

Hiker, automater extraordinaire, firm believer in creating sexy af growth strategy & business systems for grounded scaling

Before diving into the good stuff… WHEN did it become the “norm” to abandon finding balance in life in order to be successful?

I mean, not like we’re all selling our souls to the devil or anything. I’m talkin’ about the small things like…

  • Giving up slow mornings so you can feel more productive, even though you LOVE curling up on the couch with your pet, tea in hand.
  • Listening to the CONSTANT notifications dinging on your phone because God forbid you have one moment of peace and quiet without risking it all burning to the ground.
  • Showing up on every platform because that’s what successful business owners “should be doing,” even though you HATE IT.

I’ve been ‘round the block with successful business owners before. And what every single one tells me is they wish their business, systems, and teams were created around the LIFE they want to live, rather than trying to piece together a life around their BUSINESS.

Hustle culture’s a bitch, right?

Creating Summit To Your Success came from a place of wanting to help badass business owners find their happy place, knowing their business runs with a team that’s got ‘em so they can LIVE their life!

Write the damn book!

Go on dates with their significant other!

You’re getting the point, right?

Now that THAT’S outta the way, let me share the story of how I got here.

Back in the days when we rode dinosaurs to work…

And when AOL chat rooms were hot and being a “virtual assistant” wasn’t even a thing yet. This whole chabang started when I was juggling being a paralegal and running Avon events on the side. (IKIK, how much more early 2000s can I GET?)

At one of those events, I ran into a lady who wanted me to be her research assistant! I thought to myself, “f*ck yeah that sounds awesome,” and before I knew it, she was piling on the tasks that required me to (v quickly, I might add) learn how to read and write CSS and HTML code.

If you were around for the Myspace era, this was the stuff you used to customize your profile.

I quickly realized that THIS was my jam, so I went to school for

graphic design

Alongside getting really damn good at anything dealing with code and Adobe, I noticed that as I got busier and the tasks piled on, my brain was like, SUPER great at noticing what needed to be done, strategizing growth strategy, and quickly executing.

As my client’s businesses started growing, so did their needs. And since I’m a total “hell yea!” kinda lady, I got to grow alongside them.

Within a couple years, I had accidentally created a virtual assistant job for myself before that was even a thing.

Yea, you can basically call me an industry pioneer.

My favorite part wasn’t just being a task-taker. It was being the

person my clients TRUSTED

Some backer story here… I didn’t grow up with the traditional built-in support system. I was abandoned three times before I turned five.

While I’m a full-grown adult lady now, that kind of heartbreak hardwires a deep desire to not just have steadiness in my own life, but to give that to OTHERS as well.

My clients talked about over and over again how grateful they were for somebody they can trust. ‘Cause while yes, I was helping build grounded scaling systems, run all the backend for tele summits, create (insanely profitable) launch plans, or figure out literally anything you could think of for my clients, I realized that it wasn’t so much *gestures everywhere* all of this that moved the needle, it was being a trustworthy partner to my clients.

They loved being able to take vacations. They loved knowing their shit was handled. They loved finding balance in life so their business could finally serve THEM, not the other way around.

And the more I helped other entrepreneurs build their success, the more I realized that I needed my OWN summit, too

In 2014, I went on a hiking trip with only one plan: to receive WHATEVER I’m meant to on that hiking trip. After 3 days and 40+ miles hiked, I left not feeling anxious for the first time in my life.

For me, that was… absolutely huge. Anxiety had always been a bitch in my life, and after that hiking trip, I realized that grounding myself was the secret to feeling peace.

This led me to take on even MORE courageous trips, leading me to my most influential hike yet, Mount Whitney. (I’ll save you the Google search. She is a TALL girl at 14,505 feet.)

I had a debilitating fear of heights, and I knew that pushing through would open me to receive more from this self-love journey I had started

And man, it sure did. I CRIED when I reached the summit. I’ve never felt more open, raw, and free. And incredibly grateful that my amazing hiking partner and husband embraced me in the biggest hug in that moment.

I was receiving all of ME for the first time in my life. Mount Whitney completely changed me because it showed me that I was STRONGER than I realized.

It also showed me that as humans, we have these imaginary summits in our heads. Ceilings we can’t reach, things we “should” do because that’s what we feel is expected of us.

My mission has always been to help entrepreneurs reach THEIR summit

Finding balance in life looks different for everyone. And isn’t that so exciting?

Sometimes that’s creating a growth strategy and working together 1:1 so you know your shit is 100% handled. For other people, they love being integrated in their business, and want to do it strategically. Others just want to feel like they can take a BREATH without losing their damn mind.

Whatever path it takes to find the direction to your summit, I’ve designed my business around supporting your business and nervous system so you can do what makes YOU happy knowing your business is thriving & profitable af.

Because we ALL have mountains to climb

And sometimes, you just need a damn map, someone to help you pack your bags, and a friend to be your hype woman.

I blend consulting, coaching, implementation, and grounded scaling so we can build YOUR version of success.

And m’friend, I’ll be with you the entire way to your summit.
